Hole 18

One of the best finishing holes in golf, number 18 has first a dogleg left, then a dogleg right to the green. The Tee shot again tempts the brave to cut across the River, but an iron will get you to the corner in the center of the fairway, then a fairway wood can move the ball down the center of the fairway to the third shot to the green. The River only comes into play depending how close you challenge it from the tee.

The second shot should pass the pond off the left side of the fairway, and the third shot is across a small well burmed creek to a large green, which slopes back to the fairway.

Then the most popular – the 19th is the Sportsman’s Lounge in the Clubhouse, which serves great food and beverage in a pleasant “Scottish Pub” environment. This is where all of the great shots are discussed and are improved on as the evening goes on.
